Metro station George V is undergoing a renovation. The scraps of posters are left to muse upon. One dates the last major renovation as 1964/1965 with a movie poster. The movie is Crack in the World (Quand la terre s'entr'ouvrira) starring Dana Andrews and Janette Scott)

Within the walls of the Jardin du Palais Royal, an entertainer traveled around playing his mobile piano. Earlier, a girl dressed as a fairy sat on the top of the piano, playing the violin as he rolled along under the trees.   July/August 207

Urban realism/surréalism at 39 Blvd. George V is a collage photo of the original Locqueville-designed building under renovation; an inspiration of the plastics technician, Pierre Delavie; in place until March 2008.  June 2007

Apéro (aperitif) in the herb garden "to stimulate the appetite before the main meal". Often we will take an apéro with guests at our apartment and then go out to dinner.
