Open, Closed or Renovating-Gastronomy

The following is an update of what’s happening concerning Paris dining venues – their openings, closing and renovations. The information is provided by the Paris Tourist Office:

Gastronomy – Paris News / The Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau / No. 65

- Closure for renovation work of the Café de l’Homme at Trocadéro (February 2011-summer 2012)
- Opening of an Angelina restaurant/tea room in the Hôtel de Sully, a 17th-century historic building in the heart of the Marais (beginning 2012)
- Opening of a Lenôtre delicatessen at Printemps Haussmann (beginning 2012)
- Reopening of the Ciel de Paris at the top of Montparnasse tower after full renovation (April 2012)
- Opening of a bar and restaurant in the Maison des Célestins on the bank of the Seine in the Marais as part of the renovation of the riverbanks (mid-2012)
- Opening of an organic fast food at La Bourse by Marc Veyrat (end of 2012)
- Opening of two restaurants at L’Orée du Bois, Porte Maillot, a former pavilion in the Bois de Boulogne, renovated by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte (2013)
