Champs-Elysées-One Big Garden

Looking at the Champs-Elysees garden in Paris- Gad Weil and Laurence MedioniThe Champs-Elysées will be transformed into one big garden on May 23 and 24, 2010 for an event called Nature Capitale. It is to celebrate World Biodiversity year (2010) and World Biodiversity Day (May 22).

Nature Capitale is “a jubilatory creation, a sensitive and popular artwork…” – Gad Weil, street artist (Créateur d’art de rue)

Watch the video (adjust settings to 480p) on YouTube during the set up and activities May 22, 23 and 24. The photo is from the hydraulic lift looking toward the Arc de Triomphe.

If you would like to read this information in English, be sure to use Google Translate .

I’m making a brochure for the Flemish public services about the vision we drafted for a sustainable Flanders in 2050. The photo I saw on your website of la nature capitale in paris would really be a great illustration. (This photo is from the hydraulic lift.)
If this is a picture you’ve taken yourself, would it be ok if I used it? If someone else took it, could you redirect me?
