Paris Beach fans
Since 2002, the beach has been artificial, a successful attempt to capture a bit of the spirit of days gone by. Paris had real beaches until the early 1960s.

Known and less known photographers captured the beach moments from 1910 to today. Their photos are presented in the book entitled “Paris Plages, de 1910 à aujourd’hui”, Editions Hoëbeke, 20 euros.
