Paris Seen From Above
Give your eyes wings and let them fly over Paris. Let the documentarian, Yann Arthus-Bertrand take you swirling over the rooftops, into the shadows, and across the landscape of the City of Light. The video is an exclusive from the Paris Mayor’s office (Mairie de Paris).
If it has been a while since you have been to Paris, after watching this video, the airlines should have a spike in traffic!
The photographer, reporter and documentarian is already known for his latest film, “Home” and for his book, “Paris from Above” (Paris vu du Ciel). You will recognize Mr. Arthus-Bertrand’s handiwork from his other popular book and film projects “Earth from Above“

Thank you so much for linking this video, Colleen! What a beautiful way to “see” Paris once more, and from a photographer with a remarkable “eye.”
Once, when in Paris, Arthus-Bertrand’s book, Earth from Above, had just come out and huge posters done of the book’s pages were hung on the wrought iron fences at the Luxembourg Gardens………that was my introduction to his work. I’ve read and reread that book I bought (in Paris) and now, will enjoy this film over and over again.
