Looking For A Pay Phone At Gare de Lyon?
A friend of mine went into the Gare de Lyon station to make a phone call. No need to buy a phone card if you have coins, a calling card or a credit card with a smart chip.
She bought a calling card and thought the only phone available was in a passageway near the newsstand.
Look for a bank of telephones between the escalators and the arrival and departure board.
If you would like to buy a calling card, go to the newsstand behind the memorial for SNCF employees killed during wars for France.

Hi Donna, So glad it is helpful information. My friend’s cell phone didn’t work in Europe and bought a phone card. Now she knows about the alternatives as well. Thanks for the feedback! Colleen
