RATP – Metro Interactive Map

RATP Interactive Map exampleYou want to travel from Point A to B on the Paris metro. It is frustrating to get on the metro and find out work is going in the direction you want to go.

Take a look at the RATP interactive map before you go. Look for any orange cones. The pop-up window gives the dates of work and more details (in French).

Up in the top left-hand corner of the “live” map are three flag icons. The tabs on the map are available in English, French and Spanish. Use Google Translate  if the tab information is in French. The instructions for using the map are located under “Instructions for Use” at the top of the map.

Additional travel information and repairs is available in English on the RATP.fr website for “Visiting Paris”.

On the RATP homepage, all the route numbers are shown. Hover one that has an green and white outline and this means work (travaux) is underway.
