Original Statue de la Victoire once found atop the fountain at Place du Châtelet in Carnavalet Museum garden

Statue de la Victoire taken from Place du Châtelet (1806) placed atop the Palmier fountain to commemorate Napoleon’s Italian and Egyptian campaigns. The statue was replaced and the original is now in the Carnavalet museum garden
