Colleen’s Paris in Top Paris Blogs
The Canadian company, Languages Abroad and Teenagers Abroad, organizes language immersion trips for adults and students. They paid me a compliment recently by naming Colleen’s Paris one of the “Top 9 Paris Blogs”. I guess it was hard to find ten. :-)
Neil McMulkin, the Digital Marketing Manager, contacted me via Twitter (@colleensparis): “We’d love to write a feature on your blog…”. I like considering writing and photo contributions to Colleen’s Paris, so I agreed. They actually wanted to write about my website for their students studying in Paris!
The good news is they sent a link to their blog entry “Top Paris Blogs”; otherwise, it is impossible to find on their website. The other good news/bad news is that one of the blogs folded, so I guess Colleen’s Paris is number 8 now!
I know many people who dream about, want to or have come to France to study the language and culture and that teenagers are real sponges for language. Because I believe in studying a language where you live, I will give you an abridged version of Languages Abroad/Teenagers Abroad’s pitch:
“Languages Abroad specializes in sending students on educational adventures around the world. It is customizable for adults over 18 in over 35 countries and more than 20 languages. Teenagers Abroad organizes inclusive, supervised youth language immersion programs for teens who want to learn Spanish, French, German, Italian, English, Japanese, or Mandarin. The Teenagers Abroad programs are a fun, structured, and supervised way for teenagers to experience another language and culture.
Most programs involve studying in a classroom setting – in either group or private lessons, but travellers looking for an even more personal experience can book a spot in the unique Live & Learn program. With the Live & Learn program you would live and study in the home of your very own private teacher.
The Teenagers Abroad programs are a fun, structured, and supervised way for teenagers to experience another language and culture.”
I hope you find this information and their websites useful for you or your family.
