The picturesque flea markets of Vanves, de Clignancourt or Montreuil have practically become tourist attractions in their own right.


The other markets deal uniquely with either organic foods, stamps, flowers, clothes, books, and animals.


3th arrondissement - Clothes

Carreau du Temple.
2 rue Perrée
Métro : Temple ou Arts et Métiers
Boutiques : from Tuesday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m. to 12 noon
Stands : from Tuesday to Friday 9 a.m. to 12 noon, the weekend open until 12:30


4th arrondissement -- flowers, birds and other small, cute animals
Place Louis Lépine and around the quai
Métro : Cité
Marché aux fleurs (Flower Market) : from Tuesday to Sunday 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Marché aux oiseaux (Bird Market) : Sunday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.


6th arrondissement - organic foods

between rues du Cherche-Midi and Rennes
Métro: Rennes
Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Along Blvd. des Batignolles

Boulevard Richard-Lenoir, between rues Amelot and Saint-Sabin

Saturday 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (check with your concierge or visit yourself. I don't see it there every Saturday)


12th arrondissement - used clothes, fruits and vegetables, antiques (very animated, lots of flea market items - bargain and don't take first price)

Every day except Monday between 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.


14th arrondissement - arts and crafts

In the open area of  boulevard Edgar-Quinet
