La Tour Montlhéry in the Halles district for example, better known as Chez Denise (after its owner) serves up a feast of traditional fare until 5am. Until 1971, the Halles district was the capital’s largest wholesale food market and other well-known restaurants in the area include Au Pied de Cochon and La Poule au Pot.
